Our Maternal Health Service is a home-visiting programme is designed to improve the overall circumstances of whānau. We provide personalised support for hapū māmā and new parents, beginning from hapūtanga (pregnancy) through to when pēpi turns two. Delivered in the comfort of your home, the service focuses on maternal wellbeing, healthy pregnancy, safe parenting, and early child development. Our kaimahi walk alongside whānau, offering guidance, education, and connections to community resources, helping to ensure the best start for both māmā and pēpi
Mā wai ēnei mahi? Can anyone use this service?
This service is for expectant parents (hapū māmā and their whānau), and for whānau with a pēpi under 12 months who live in the Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, or Wainuiomata area
You may find this service especially helpful if you are:
• Teenage māmā
• Parenting alone or with little support
• Finding parenting or bonding difficult
• SIDS risk
• Feeling socially isolated
• Having had minimal, late, or no antenatal care
